Mandatory Background Check Requirement (Age 18+)
All candidates (Officials and Scorekeepers) who are 18 years of age or older are required to complete a background check in order to work for Seacoast Hockey Officials. This is a legal requirement in all states, as our staff work in environments involving minors.
If you are currently registered with USA Hockey as a Coach, Official, or Volunteer, and have already completed a USA Hockey background screening for the 2024–2025 season, you may upload your documentation below as proof of compliance. This must be your USA Hockey Card or the confirmation page that shows your background check is cleared for the 2024-2025 season.
Please ensure the document clearly shows your name, registration status, and confirmation of the completed background check.

USA Hockey Certified Members
USA Hockey utilizes the same background check firm to conduct their annual checks on members. IF you are registered through USA Hockey as a Coach, Team Manager or Official and have been cleared, you do not have to complete a background check for SHO.
You will need to show us your 2024-2025 USA Hockey credentials to know that you cleared the same background check that we use. Please upload a photo of your USA Hockey Card from USA Hockey that proves you are registered with USA Hockey for the 2024-2025 season
